This is a time of great upheaval in the pharmaceutical sector with regard to elemental impurities, given that the new ICH-Q3D Guide to Impurities It will be mandatory for new medicinal product registrations from June 2016 onwards and will apply to all medicinal products from December 2017 onwards.
