Rapex Report 16 September 2016: In the Rapex Report published last Friday, 16 September, 28 products were withdrawn from the European Union market. However, Spain has not reported any product bans within its borders. This is good news from the point of view of consumer safety. The market that reported the most items was Germany, with 8 products withdrawn.

Rapex Report 16 September 2016: Cosmetics

As regards the cosmetics sector, we also have some good news: not a single product has been withdrawn. Neither in the cosmetics section, where such notifications usually appear, nor in the toys or chemicals sections, where we sometimes find products that we at GTF do indeed consider to be cosmetics, even though they have been listed under a different category.
