It will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Academy (Barcelona) and will be open to all interested members of the public, with the participation of recognised experts in the fields of medical research, cosmetic formulation and pharmaceutical care.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">The event will be presented and moderated by the <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"405\">Dr. Merc\u00e8 Camps Mir\u00f3<\/b>, and the corresponding pharmaceutical and academic studies.<\/p>\n<h2 data-path-to-node=\"6\">Programme and speakers<\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">The round table will be structured around three keynote speeches that will address the disease from different perspectives that are fundamental for public health and health education:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"8\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">\u00abThe Thousand Faces of Skin Cancer\u00bb<\/b> A c\u00e0rrec de la <b data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"50\">Dr. Susana Puig<\/b>, Director of IDIBAPS, Director of Research and Innovation at the Hospital Cl\u00ednic de Barcelona and Professor at the University of Barcelona (UB).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">\u201cIntelligent photoprotection: how sunscreens protect the skin against UV radiation\u201d.\u201d<\/b> A c\u00e0rrec de la <b data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"110\">Ms. Carmina Casas<\/b>, <i data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"130\">Senior Account Manager Beauty &amp; Care<\/i> a DSM-FIRMENICH, specialist in photoprotection, sunscreens and cosmetic formulation, and president of the IFSCC (2023).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">\u00abHealth education and the role of the pharmacist in sun damage prevention and photoprotection\u00bb.\u00bb<\/b> A c\u00e0rrec de la <b data-path-to-node=\"8,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"108\">Dr. Ana M. Aliaga P\u00e9rez<\/b>, and the corresponding pharmaceutical and academic studies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">At the end of the speeches, there will be a <b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"45\">torn obert de preguntes<\/b> for all attendees, promoting debate and the resolution of doubts about sun protection and the early detection of skin cancer.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\">The organisation of the event has the institutional support of the president of the section, the <b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"91\">Dr. Carles Codina Jan\u00e9<\/b>, and the secretary, the <b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"135\">Dr. M.
